Jenny Maurer ND

My journey to natural health began as a teenager in Seattle, WA, when my focus on healthy diet and lifestyles and environmental issues led me to The Evergreen State College. There I completed my Bachelor of Science with an emphasis on pre-med and nutrition. It was then I realized I was destined to be become a naturopathic doctor and went on to earn a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and certificate of Naturopathic Midwifery at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR. I then completed an additional 2 year apprenticeship in midwifery.

I thoroughly believe in the body’s innate ability to heal naturally and support these processes through my education, experience and intuition. I treat each patient as an individual and enjoy using herbs, homeopathy, nutrition, and lifestyle counseling to help patients achieve health and wellness. My goal as a family physician is to work together, as partners in health, helping to inform and educate so that each patient may make the best choices for themselves and their families. I strive to help my patients achieve an optimal state of  health and love being a guide on the journey. I welcome all members of the family to my practice, and am especially delighted to care for children. Being a mother of two amazing children has given me much insight and wisdom into raising children holistically and treating illnesses naturally.  When I’m not practicing you can find me in the garden, hiking, traveling, enjoying music, crafting and spending quality time with my friends and family.
